Summary: In the years following the end of the Kilrathi War, a new enemy emerges. One man has an idea to stop them…and a new weapon in the form of one Rachel Berry.

Notes: This is a slight crossover with the Wing Commander series, mostly in that the setting and terminology are used but little else.  You don’t need to know much about it beyond that Kilrathi = “a race of burly humanoid cat people”, and this fic is set after the Terran Confederation (humanity) won the war against them.
